Since 1985, Interlink Electronics has pioneered the design
and manufacture Force Sensing Resistor (FSR) technology for use in industries
such as medical, automotive, and military. An FSR is an ultra-slim thick film printed, flexible passive sensor which exhibits a decrease in electrical resistance as surface pressure is applied. They are available in both standard and custom configurations. |

Over the last few years, Interlink Electronics have used
their patented FSR technology to create a new family of sensors. This is the
MicroNav family. Ideal for mobile phones, PDAs, and tablet PCs, MicroNav provides various integration solutions using the most advanced micro-pointing technology available for consumer electronic devices. |

| The MicroNav 360 is a compact sensor that provides complete mouse navigation functionality for portable electronic devices, such as mobile handsets, micro and handheld email clients, tablet PCs, digital recorders, mobile phones and remote controls. MicroNav 360 measures only 10mm x 10mm x 0.4mm, making it the viable mouse navigation solution of choice for the smallest handheld devices, using Interlink Electronics Force Sensing Resistor technology. |
The MicroNav Array is a grid-pattern sensor used for location identification or
pressure sensing. It is designed to gather information pertaining to the
location or pressure applied by one's fingertip on a mobile phone or other
handheld device. |
The MicroNav Ring provides quick circular scrolling and menu navigation for
consumer electronic devices in an easy-to-integrate, high resolution, ultra
low-power package. Well suited for controlling streaming media (volume and
audio, audio levels and balance), menus, long lists, and gaming functions. |
The MicroNav Strip is designed for linear pressure sensing applications,
providing navigation and scrolling capabilities for MP3 players and other
handheld applications. |
The MicroNav Pad (formerly known as VersaPad) is a customisable input pad
solution for fingertip-based cursor pointing or stylus-based pen input for
electronic signature and character recognition systems. |
